The SUNY Fredonia College Chamber Orchestra, under the direction of Associate Professor David Rudge, will present a concert on Wednesday, Dec. 1, at 8 p.m., in Rosch Recital Hall.

After Antonio Vivaldi’s lively Concerto for Strings in C major, Assistant Professor Barry Crawford will be featured in Mozart’s Flute Concerto No. 1.

Other works to be performed by the orchestra include “Serenade,” by Black composer William Grant Still, conducted by Andrew Wolffking, a candidate for a M.M. in Music Performance, from Irvine, Calif.; the haunting “On the Nature of Daylight,” by British composer Max Richter; and Italian composer Ottorino Respighi’s Third Suite of “Ancient Airs and Dances.”

The concert is free and open to the public.
