Ever wonder what’s in the Music Collection in the Daniel Reed Library? Attend the open house and find out.
An open house on Friday, Nov. 21, from 1 to 4 p.m., will provide opportunities to meet the Music and Arts librarian, explore the Music Collection and its vast holdings, and learn about various resources and services available there to library patrons. The Music Collection is located on the library’s mezzanine.
It is believed to be the first open house at the Music Collection.
Coffee, tea and cookies will be provided.
The open house is open to all students (both music and non-music majors), faculty, staff and community members. It coincides with the New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) Area All-State Festival that will be held on campus Friday and Saturday, Nov. 21 and 22. Visiting music educators at the festival can also attend the open house and learn more about how they can utilize the Music Collection as community patrons.
The open house is sponsored by an endowment through the Fredonia College Foundation.
