

The Fredonia Wind Ensemble is featured in King Concert Hall on Saturday, Feb. 26, with a concert including an exciting variety and wide range of genres.
The free concert begins at 8 p.m. and the campus and community are invited to attend.
Repertoire will include Tailleferre's 鈥淥uverture鈥 arranged by John P. Paynter and Stravinsky's 鈥淪ymphonies of Wind Instruments,鈥 a symphony comprised of smaller symphonies. Carlos Simon鈥檚 鈥淎men!鈥 pays homage to Simon鈥檚 family鈥檚 four generation affiliation with the Pentecostal church as he re-creates his musical experience of an African American Pentecostal church service. 鈥淏achianas Brasileiras No. 5鈥 by Villa Lobos, arranged by John Krance, explores the gorgeous woodwind timbres.
