Jesse Bonaventura, pianist and winner of the annual Concerto Competition, will perform the first movement of George Gershwin鈥檚 Piano Concerto in F with the Fredonia College Symphony Orchestra on Saturday, Nov. 11, 8 p.m., in King Concert Hall.
Mr. Bonaventura, of Williamsville, is a senior Music Performance major with a minor in Computer Science and a student in Fr. Sean Duggan鈥檚 studio.
The orchestra, under the direction of Dr. David Rudge, will also perform Vasily Kalinnikov鈥檚 Symphony No. 2 and the 1919 version of Igor Stravinsky鈥檚 suite from 鈥淭he Firebird鈥 (L鈥橭iseau de feu).
The concert is free and open to the public.
