The Counseling Center, together with various campus departments and faculty, will be hosting De-Stress for Success initiative for students during the last week of classes and Final Exam Week. De-Stress for Success is a series of events, programs, and workshops designed to help students find ways to reduce stress in a healthy, productive manner, and gain the focus they need to succeed during this challenging time.

Events will begin Thursday, May 9, concluding on Friday, May 17, all events are free and students are encouraged to attend.

Thursday, May 9

鈥淪tress Free Zone:鈥 Reed Library Lobby. Relax with various stress relieving activities including coloring, crafts and games.

Friday, May 10

鈥淪tress Free Zone:鈥 Reed Library Lobby. Relax with various stress relieving activities including coloring, crafts and games.

Monday, May 13

鈥10 Minutes to Stress Free:鈥 11 a.m. to noon, Reed Library. Learn more about breathing techniques, meditation, and yoga to help relax, reduce test anxiety, and focus for finals. Offered at 10 minute intervals throughout the hour.

鈥淔ree Yoga Class:鈥 noon to 1 p.m. Dods Hall Gymnasium.

鈥淪tress Free Zone:鈥 Reed Library Lobby. Relax with various stress relieving activities including coloring, crafts and games.

鈥淨uiet Study Areas:鈥 9 a.m. to midnight, Williams Center Rooms, 103C and 204E.

鈥淗ealthy Bites:鈥 LoGrasso Hall Health Center. Free healthy snacks.

Tuesday, May 14

鈥淔ree Zumba Class:鈥 11 a.m. to noon, Dods Hall Gymnasium. Dance away stress.

鈥淔reezie Pops & Frisbee:鈥 11 a.m. to noon, McEwen Hall Lobby. Relax with free popsicles and Frisbees.
