聽A one-week theatre class that explores drama both on the page at SUNY Fredonia and on stage in New York City will be offered May 15-19.聽The course -- ENGL 399/590: Page and Stage: NYC Drama -- consists of discussion on campus of three plays and travel to New York City to see productions of those plays.
Instructor Ann Siegle Drege is obtaining tickets for Arthur Miller鈥檚 鈥淒eath of a Salesman,鈥 with Philip Seymour Hoffman, and Mary Chase鈥檚 鈥淗arvey,鈥 with Jim Parsons, from 鈥淭he Big Bang Theory.鈥 The third show is still under consideration.
The 1.5 credit class carries tuition of $330, fees of $88.28 and course fee of $787. The English Department will award a scholarship to cover the course fee for a student who would otherwise be unable to enroll. Class size is limited to 10 students.
