The Women's and Gender Studies program will celebrate its 20th anniversary at its annual Fall Gathering on Monday, Oct. 3, beginning at 3 p.m. in the Horizon Room in the Williams Center.
Included in the program is the Ask & Answer Tour, which will feature award-winning multidisciplinary transgender artists Chase Joynt and Vivek Shraya, who will read from their recent publications, 鈥淵ou Only Live Twice鈥 and 鈥淓ven this Page is White,鈥 respectively.
The event, co-sponsored with the Pride Alliance and the Women's Student Union, will also function as the opening ceremony to this year's Queer History Month. Books will be available for sale at the event and refreshments will be served.
There is no admission fee and the program is open to the public.
