Music Education professors Christian Bernhard and Jill Reese, along with graduate student Yunshu Tan, will travel to Tampa, Fla., for the Suncoast Music Education Research Symposium to be held Feb. 1-4 at the University of South Florida.
Ms. Tan will share her recent research about Chinese pop music; Dr. Reese will present a research study, 鈥淐ommunitas: Ukulele and Collective Joy,鈥 and Dr. Bernhard will present a session about contemplative practices in music teacher education.
鈥淭he Human Factor in Music Teaching, Learning and Research鈥 is the theme of the 11th annual symposium.
