Tickets to all the events in the 2010-11 Lake Shore Savings Season are on now on sale through the SUNY Fredonia Ticket Office in the Williams Center (673-3501) and on line at fredonia.edu/tickets.

Mix & Match Season Tickets, which offer savings of up to 25 percent, are also available through the SUNY Fredonia Ticket Office in the Williams Center or by calling 716-673-3501 (1-866-441-4928). Mix & Match Season Ticket packages are not available online.

With the Mix & Match plan, patrons create their ticket packages from a list of 19 events that are part of the 2010-11 Lake Shore Savings Season. Details on the events are available at www.fredonia.edu/rac.

 

 

Performing arts programming at Rockefeller Arts Center on the campus of the 海角社区 will receive a major boost from Lake Shore Savings once again in 2010-11.

For the fourth straight season, the Dunkirk-based financial institution has pledged $10,000 as the season sponsor at the arts center. This investment by Lake Shore Savings goes to support a lineup of diverse entertainment events. The lineup includes:


鈥 The DFT Communications Pops Series: 鈥淏oston Brass鈥 on Oct. 22 at 8 p.m., 鈥淭he Best of Broadway: Christmas on Broadway鈥 on Dec. 9 at 8 p.m. and 鈥淏ig Band Song and Dance: Commencement Eve Pops鈥 on May 13 at 8 p.m.

鈥 The Kaleidoscope Family Series sponsored by Star One Media: 鈥淟ynn Trefzger: Comedienne Ventriloquist鈥 on Nov. 5 at 7 p.m., 鈥淧eter Pan by DuffleBag Theatre鈥 on Feb. 11 at 7 p.m. and 鈥淎vner the Eccentric: Exceptions to Gravity鈥 on April 15 at 7 p.m.

鈥 The Walter Gloor Mainstage Series: 鈥淐harley鈥檚 Aunt鈥 from Oct. 15-23, 鈥淭he Altruists鈥 from Nov. 5-13, 鈥淭he Venetian Twins鈥 from Feb. 25 to March 3, 鈥淭he Sound of Music鈥 from April 1-9 and the Fredonia Dance Ensemble from April 29-May 1.

鈥 The World Travel Series sponsored by Fredonia Place: 鈥淭he Other Side of Mexico鈥 on Sept. 25 at 7:30 p.m., 鈥淣orthern Europe: Journey to Iceland, Norway, London, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Russia, Poland and Prague鈥 on Oct. 30 at 7:30 p.m. and 鈥淕host Towns of the Wild West鈥 on April 2 at 7:30 p.m.

鈥 The Hillman Opera: 鈥淟es Contes d鈥橦offman鈥 on Nov. 12 and 13.

鈥 The Western New York Chamber Orchestra Classics Series: 鈥淪ummer Serenade鈥 on Sept. 19 at 4 p.m., 鈥淪acred Words, Sacred Music鈥 on Oct. 31 at 4 p.m., 鈥淰estiges鈥 on Feb. 6 at 4 p.m. and 鈥淐osi fan Tutte鈥 on March 27 at 4 p.m.

Lake Shore Savings has long supported the programs at Rockefeller Arts Center and SUNY Fredonia. Rockefeller Arts Center Director Jefferson Westwood said Lake Shore Savings became Rockefeller鈥檚 first-ever corporate sponsor 1987 and the first-ever season-wide sponsor in 2007-08.

In addition to its support of events and programs at SUNY Fredonia, Lake Shore Savings supports many worthy local causes through its Community Reinvestment Fund.
