For the seventh consecutive year, Fredonia has earned the Military Friendly庐 School designation from Victory Media.
The classification identifies colleges and universities that provide the best opportunities for veterans and their spouses, according to data from federal agencies, veteran students and proprietary survey information from participating organizations, as well as public data sources for more than 8,800 schools nationwide.
Fredonia was one of 941 schools, out of 1,400 schools that participated in the survey, to earn the Military Friendly庐 School classification for the 2018-2019 academic year.
鈥淭hat designation shows that Fredonia ranks in the top 20 percent of colleges, universities and trade schools in that country that are doing the most to embrace America鈥檚 military service members, veterans and spouses as students and ensures their success on campus,鈥 said Mark Mackey, Fredonia Veterans Affairs administrator.
There are currently 67 veterans, active reservists and dependents of military personnel enrolled at Fredonia.
