Strange Evenings

SUNY Fredonia faculty from across a variety of disciplines will lead this spring鈥檚 American Studies 2012 Film Series. This year鈥檚 series will explore the science fiction genre of the late 20th century.

All films will be shown at 7 p.m. in W101 Thompson Hall on select Thursday evenings as listed below:

  • 路 Feb. 9: 鈥淰ideodrome,鈥 introduced by Dr. Shannon McRae, American Studies/English Dept.
     
  • 路 Feb. 23: 鈥淭erminator 2,鈥 introduced by Dr. Shazad Mohammed, Dept. of Business Administration
     
  • 路 March 8: 鈥淪trange Days,鈥 introduced by Dr. Alexander Caviedes, Dept. of Political Science
     
  • 路 March 29: 鈥2001,鈥 introduced by Dr. Natalie Gerber, English Dept.
     
  • 路 April 12: 鈥淎 Scanner Darkly,鈥 introduced by Dr. Bruce Simon, English Dept.
     
  • 路 April 26: 鈥淏lade Runner,鈥 introduced by Dr. Ellen Litwicki, History Dept.
