A call for papers聽written by聽undergraduates and graduate students has been issued for the Women鈥檚 Studies Conference Tuesday, April 17, from 4 to 6 p.m. in Caf茅 G. The students whose papers are chosen will deliver a 20 minute oral presentation at the conference and will receive the Dean鈥檚 Award for Excellence, which is a monetary award.
Papers written for courses during the Spring or Fall 2006 semesters are eligible for submission and should be聽submitted no later than March 9 to Dr. Hilary Aquino (history) E313 Thompson Hall. 鈥淎ccepted submissions will demonstrate a critical analysis of primary and secondary sources,鈥 Dr. Aquino said. 鈥淩eports based on empirical research projects will also be considered. Each submission should include a reference sheet or bibliography.鈥
