The Student Opera Theatre Association at SUNY Fredonia will be staging four days of opera scenes this week at the 1891 Fredonia Opera House in downtown Fredonia.
On Thursday, March 7 at 7 p.m., and Saturday, March 9 at 2 p.m., scenes from 鈥淟ittle Women鈥 by Mark Adamo, and 鈥淕allantry,鈥 by Douglas Moore, will be featured.
On Friday, March 8, at 7 p.m., and Sunday, March 10 at 2 p.m., operas to be featured include 鈥淔elice鈥 by Benton Hess, and 鈥淰agabond King鈥 by Rudolf Friml.
All performers are undergraduate vocal music students at SUNY Fredonia and members of the Student Opera Theatre Association. Nicole Peets is the student producer of the event, which is sponsored by the Student Association.
Tickets, which can be purchased at the opera house box office, are $5 for students and seniors, and $8 for adults. Tickets will also be available one hour before each performance in the lobby.
