聽Welch鈥檚 and the National Grape Cooperative today announced that they are accepting applications for the scholarship fund established for their employees and grower-owners to SUNY Fredonia. Any child or grandchild of a Welch鈥檚 or National Grape employee or grower-owner is eligible for the Welch鈥檚 Scholarship. Eligible students are invited to compete for two $1,250 scholarships to SUNY Fredonia, if they will be attending the university in the fall of 2009.

Established through the Fredonia College Foundation, the Welch's Scholarships have been awarded annually since 1996. Interested families should contact the National Grape Cooperative office at 2 S. Portage St. in Westfield, 716-326-5368. Applications are due May 10.
