Sarah D'Hilly Student of the Month

Sarah D鈥橦illy, whose breadth of experience encompasses leadership roles at Fredonia Radio Systems, Spectrum Entertainment and Residence Life and internships in New York City and Nashville, has been named the March Student of the Month by the SUNY Fredonia Office of Residence Life.

A junior from Cheektowaga, D鈥橦illy is a double major in Public Relations and Audio Production.

Steven Bernstein of the Office of Residence Life nominated her for the award to recognize her considerable involvement in the campus and service to his department.

D鈥橦illy served as a resident assistant for two semesters at Eisenhower Hall and is in her second semester of R.A. duty at Gregory Hall.

She has also been station manager of Fredonia Radio Systems and president of Spectrum Entertainment.

She was key in planning and facilitating the annual Rockin鈥 the Commons in downtown Fredonia and has also participated in the Buffalo News Kids Day, Fall Sweep and worked with elderly residents at St. Vincent鈥檚 Home in Dunkirk.

Recipient of the 2011 Edward S. Edelman Scholarship in Communication, D鈥橦illy was recently accepted into the SUNY Fredonia Alma Mater Society.

She served an internship last summer with Big Machine Label Group in Nashville, and has accepted a summer 2012 internship with a New York City fashion, public relations and branding firm.
